Consultant (m/f/d) in the field of circular economy – focus: Textiles and municipal packaging policy

Your tasks
- Development of our thematic focus on textiles: acquisition of project funding, development of political positions, campaign and information materials
- Content processing, management and further development of our work on municipal packaging policy, in particular on packaging taxes
- Drafting political statements and background papers
- Conception, planning and implementation of events and meetings with decision-makers and stakeholders from politics and society, business and science
- Representing DUH at meetings, conferences and in networks
- Preparing and supporting press and public relations work in collaboration with our newsroom and the campaign team
Your qualifications
- Degree/training in environmental sciences, recycling management, technical environmental protection or comparable subject
- Ideally relevant professional experience and specialist knowledge in the textile sector
- Familiar with the legal standards of the circular economy (e.g. Circular Economy Act, Ecodesign Ordinance) and ideally with the principle of extended producer responsibility and/or municipal waste legislation
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with specialist topics and positions
- Experience in project management and the acquisition of project funds
- Initiative, ability to think politically and strategically, enjoy fact-based work, high degree of independence, motivation and very good teamwork skills
- Very good command of English and sound IT skills
