Consultant (m/f/d) Regulation & Controlling
At BET,you will work as a consultant (m/f/d) in the partner area of Regulation & Controlling on changing issues with an energy industry and strategic focus. In your day-to-day work, you will be involved in interdisciplinary projects in the D-A-CH region and play a key role in providing economic and strategic advice to our clients in the context of electricity and gas network assessments, strategic and operational regulation management and transactions in the energy sector.
Your areas of responsibility
- Strategic and operational regulation management and positioning of grid companies (e.g. revenue and cost management, business planning)
- Development and implementation of planning and control concepts
- Modeling balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements, creating clear documentation and informative reports as well as preparing decision papers
- Collaboration and project management of challenging projects and coordination with the customer
- Independent development of innovative solutions and concepts, responsible further development of consulting products in the field of regulation and controlling
- Interdisciplinary and networked work on commercial issues in cross-sectional projects
What you bring with you
- (Several years) of professional experience in a management consultancy, auditing firm or utility company
- Completed university degree in economics or comparable degree
- Ideally in-depth knowledge of the energy industry
- Willingness to try out innovative ideas and be entrepreneurially active in a highly networked organization
- Good command of English
