Consultant Security, BCM & Emergency Management (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- With the KRITIS Umbrella Act and the implementation of the NIS2 Directive into national law, Gasunie Deutschland is facing new requirements. That’s why we need you! As a consultant for security, BCM & emergency management, you will be responsible for implementing the legally prescribed measures for emergency management, business continuity management (BCM) and physical security in our “Resilience & Security” (R&S) team. You will be involved in the creation of trend-setting technical concepts and implement legal and standard specifications or ensure their documentation.
- Getting a little better every day: As the central contact person for business continuity management, emergency management and physical security at Gasunie Deutschland, you will be responsible for the coordination and conceptual development of this area. Based on risk assessments as well as laws and standard specifications, you will identify, initiate and support measures to further develop our BCM and increase our physical security, including as part of training courses, exercises and awareness campaigns in on-site meetings at our locations.
- Take responsibility: Standard specifications, audits, risk management, documentation and the further development of our GMS in the above-mentioned environment are just as much a part of your area of responsibility as GUD’s emergency management and the coordination of emergency communication management.
- Helping to shape the future: The R&S team is holistically responsible for information security, physical security, business continuity and emergency management at Gasunie Deutschland. In your new role, you can shape the future – with your knowledge of processes in the critical infrastructure environment, your technical and methodological expertise as well as your personality and persuasiveness.
Your qualifications
- Have a keen interest in critical infrastructure and be up to date with the technologies used to protect it.
- Quickly become familiar with GUD’s critical business processes and participate in internal and external working groups.
- Have no fear of contact with authorities, standards, auditors and risk management and be able to react flexibly to changing requirements.
- Be creative, goal-oriented and outgoing and be able to inspire others with your innovative ideas and concepts and take them along with you when changes are necessary.
- Have a university degree or several years of relevant professional experience in the field of the task.
- Be willing to contribute to the team and the area and use agile working methods in the process.
- Have a good command of English.
