Controller (m/f/d) for the area of energy services/digital customer solutions and housing industry

Your tasks

  • You will plan, monitor and supervise sales and preliminary costs for the housing industry/cities and municipalities customer segment and carry out contribution margin calculations for the electricity/natural gas/water and district heating business.
  • You will be responsible for preparing business plans and forecasts and will operate the corresponding reporting channels for EDL and commodities in your area of responsibility. In addition, you will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements within Mainova AG.
  • To ensure commercial and technical controlling on the basis of defined KPIs for performance measurement, you will prepare and provide project and product-related information.
  • You will prepare the profitability analyses for EDL projects and develop recommendations for action for economic optimization. Building on this, you will design and (further) develop systems for the post-calculation of new projects.
  • You will be responsible for preparing, consolidating and checking the plausibility of reporting-relevant data (e.g. service relationships (SLAs), provisions, opportunities and risks) and coordinating the company-wide reporting process.
  • You are responsible for monitoring the internal posting to the cost elements and, together with the management, ensure that costs are properly allocated to the specialist departments.

Your qualifications

  • Successful studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering or a similar field.
  • Many years of functionally relevant professional experience in commercial and/or technical controlling.
  • A high affinity for technical and economic contexts and the corresponding KPIs.
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel), very good SAP BW/SD/FI and ISU knowledge, PowerBI knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, good communication skills and above-average commitment.
