Creating load profiles and determining other parameters (including calorific values and annual consumption forecasts) for energy volume balancing for electricity and gas, taking into account legal and regulatory requirements and market processes Carrying out risk-minimized balancing group management through cost-optimized portfolio management for the market role of distribution system operator (DSO), including responsibility for billing the DSO balancing groups and procuring energy losses Preparing monthly consumption analyses in the electricity and gas sectors and deriving economic developments Determining, preparing and providing information for quarterly and annual financial statements and business plans as well as account clarifications for the responsible cost types (including grid differences and income/expenses from excess/shortfall quantities) Determining and forecasting energy quantities in the above-mentioned financial statements and for the business plan in cooperation with RheinEnergie AG's Finance Business Partner Processing contracts with upstream network operators from a commercial perspective (incl. invoice verification and allocation to cost centers) Collaboration in association working groups
Successfully completed studies (diploma/master's degree) in business administration or equivalent Several years of professional experience in the energy sector, ideally in the market role of distribution system operator Sound knowledge of the energy volume balancing of a grid operator Comprehensive understanding of how the liberalized electricity and gas market works Comprehensive knowledge of the business processes of a network operator as well as the underlying legal and regulatory requirements (GPKE, GeLi Gas, MaBiS, GABi Gas, WiM) Ideally experience in project management Ideally basic legal knowledge In-depth knowledge of SAP IS-U and EDM, basic knowledge of SAP BW Sound knowledge of the MS Office package High level of analytical skills Commitment, assertiveness and strong communication skills
