Data and Process Management Specialist in the Energy Industry (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- You will play a key role at the intersection of data, processes, and regulation, and actively shape the further development of our company-wide reporting and information processes. In the dynamic environment of the energy industry, you will bring transparency to complex issues, drive digitalization along the entire data value chain, and be responsible for key reports with high visibility.
- Defining and refining reporting processes based on internal and external requirements within the energy sector, such as the EU Methane Regulation
- Optimizing and digitizing information processes: from the data source to the distribution of data to internal and external stakeholders
- Participation in cross-functional working groups to further develop our data processes
- Technical assessment of changes to the regulatory framework to identify necessary adjustments to our data and information processes
- Audit-compliant process documentation and creation of data templates and work instructions
- Responsibility for the EU Methane Report, including preparation, quality assurance, and timely submission
- Collaborating with internal departments to coordinate content with other corporate reports (e.g., CSR/sustainability report)
Your Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or business, e.g., utility engineering, energy engineering, business administration, business informatics, or a comparable degree
- Several years of professional experience in the described field, ideally supplemented by
- by in-depth practical experience in the data-driven creation of standardized reports
- Experience in the functional leadership of interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams or workgroups—even without disciplinary responsibility
- Strong ability to perform structured analysis and to prepare data and key metrics precisely and in a manner tailored to the audience for internal and external reporting
- Very good understanding of processes as well as practical experience in modeling, optimizing, and standardizing business and data processes
- A very careful, meticulous, and results-oriented approach to work, combined with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Strong communication skills, experience in project management and in coordinating cross-departmental collaboration, as well as assertiveness and facilitation skills
- Experience with agile working methods (e.g., OKR, Scrum) and their practical application in cross-functional teams
