Your tasks
New and further development of the system architecture and control of grid feed-in and stand-alone inverters with upstream DC/DC converter stages for photovoltaic, battery systems and fuel cells. This includes Analyzing new requirements and creating functional specifications Defining the system and software architecture Modeling of power electronic systems and their simulation Developing the control strategy and optimizing the control system Carrying out software reviews Integration tests on the real device and in the hardware-in-the-loop system Support with the associated certifications Assisting with the selection and optimization of hardware components and their support Adhering to the specified deadlines and quality
Your qualifications
Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, control engineering or comparable training, e.g. industrial electrician (m/f/d) Very good knowledge of digital signal processing and control engineering in power electronics Confident in working with MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS Comprehensive knowledge of system theory Good programming skills in C/C++ for hardware-related real-time software Knowledge of programming real-time microcontrollers Knowledge of software engineering (requirements engineering, process models, test procedures, version management) Knowledge in the field of power electronic circuits Good written and spoken German and English skills Knowledge of agile methods and DevOps mindset including continuous integration is an advantage
