Your tasks
- Look forward to exciting tasks:
- Operating the largest district heating network in Switzerland as an operator with your team colleagues.
- Keeping a cool head in the event of disruptions and unforeseen events and proactively initiating appropriate countermeasures.
- Documenting the relevant logs and checklists during tours of our 5 power plant sites.
- Ensure the ecological use of our plant fleet and thus make an important contribution to CO2-neutral heat production.
- Continuously expand your wealth of experience in the operation of thermal systems and power plants.
Your qualifications
- You make us even better:
- You are keen to make a contribution to climate neutrality for the city of Basel.
- Basic technical training such as an electrician EFZ, mechanic EFZ, pharmaceutical technologist EFZ or similar, supplemented by further training as a heating plant operator or willingness to complete this.
- Several years of experience in the operation and maintenance of production and industrial plants.
- Ideally, you have a good knowledge of thermal systems or power plants – if not, no problem: we will be happy to develop you further.
- Working in 24-hour shifts – no problem for you!
