Your Responsibilities
- As a key player in our technical management team, you will make a decisive contribution to the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective development of our power grid. In this role, you will play a central part in the strategic planning and operational implementation of technical measures and actively help shape the challenges of the energy transition at the local level. You will drive innovative solutions, ensure the quality of service, and play a key role in expanding our infrastructure in an efficient, sustainable, and resilient manner, as well as adapting it to the growing demands posed by digitalization and decentralized generation structures.
- Planning and further development of the facilities in our medium- and low-voltage power grid
- Conducting, analyzing, and evaluating grid calculations (e.g., load flow and grid compatibility analyses) as well as assessing grid connections
- Leading and managing projects related to grid development and the implementation of regulatory requirements
- Preparation of technical documents such as planning documents, concepts, and documentation, as well as participation in tenders and economic feasibility analyses
- Coordinating service providers and collaborating with government agencies and internal departments
Your Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or energy engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in energy supply, grid planning, and the operation of electrical power grids is a plus
- Knowledge of grid calculations as well as relevant standards and regulations (including VDE/DIN/NAV)
- Proficiency with MS Office and, ideally, with grid calculation or planning tools
- A structured and analytical approach to work, along with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and a reliable work ethic
