Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
As a wholly owned subsidiary of energis GmbH and thus part of the VSE Group, we serve as a certification body for municipalities, municipal enterprises, and industrial companies, responsible for the integration of renewable energy systems into the electric power grid as well as for the calculation of electrical grids.
Your Responsibilities
- Review and verification of electrical drawings, plans, and schematic diagrams
- Verification of the plans for completeness in accordance with the requirements of the grid connection guidelines VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
- Communication with customers (explaining technical issues, assisting with the application of grid connection guidelines, collecting any missing data)
- Preparation of quotes and contracts
- On-site inspections of electrical storage systems, PV, wind, and internal combustion power plants, including data collection at the facility and assisting customers during inspections in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
- Conducting static and dynamic grid calculations
- Preparation of declarations of conformity and plant reports in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
Your Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a specialization in electrical power systems
- In-depth knowledge of the physics of electrical power systems and grid calculations
- Interest in working with standards and guidelines, as well as the ability to understand and apply them
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- A structured, analytical, and meticulous approach to work
- Ability to work independently, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Class B driver’s license
