Electrician as power plant operator / control center operator / plant operator (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Monitoring and controlling our state-of-the-art gas-fired power plant from the central control room in a fully continuous shift system (early, late, night and day shifts)
- Ensuring safe and trouble-free plant operation
- Analyzing, diagnosing and rectifying faults in plant operation
- Carrying out routine checks, plant tours and occupational safety inspections
- Independently carrying out electrical and mechanical isolation measures
- Carrying out electrical maintenance and repair work on power plant components
- Supervision and monitoring of external companies in the plant
- Carrying out safety instructions for external companies and visitors
- Continuous expansion of plant and operational know-how through further training
Your qualifications
- Completed training in electrical engineering (e.g. electrician, industrial electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician or similar)
- Further training as a technician or master craftsman an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Ideally knowledge of power plant technology, but not a prerequisite. Career changers from the electrical engineering sector are also welcome
- Experience in fully continuous shift operation desirable
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Independent and responsible way of working with a strong safety awareness
- Flexibility, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills as well as high reliability and motivation
- Willingness to undergo continuous training and further education
- Health suitability according to occupational health screening for fully continuous shift operation
