Your tasks
- As a UPS service technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, commissioning and servicing of uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS systems), associated battery systems and innovative energy storage systems. You will work independently on site at our customers’ premises in data centers, hospitals, industrial companies, banks, car manufacturers and many other sectors.
- Construction, installation and commissioning of UPS systems, battery systems, mains filters and energy storage systems.
- Maintenance and repair of these systems.
- Careful documentation of the work carried out
- Instruction, advice and training for our customers.
- Your service assignments are planned and scheduled centrally by our scheduling department. You will receive your route plan in good time to facilitate your personal planning. Ad hoc assignments to rectify faults or short-term orders from our rental UPS department are occasionally possible. Assignments lasting several days may also be required for major projects.
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g. electrician, electronics technician, energy electronics technician, electrical fitter, mechatronics technician) or a comparable qualification as an electrician.
- Optional: Master craftsman or technician in an electrotechnical field.
- Reliability, sense of responsibility and self-confident appearance.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics, customer and solution-oriented thinking
- Knowledge of UPS systems and battery systems an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Written and spoken German, basic knowledge of English
- Class B driver’s license and confident use of a PC
