WSW Netz GmbH is a subsidiary of WSW Energie & Wasser AG and operates the electricity and gas distribution networks in the city of Wuppertal. Wuppertal, in the heart of the Bergisches Land region and centrally located between the Rhine and Ruhr rivers, has a population of around 360,000. WSW Netz GmbH employs around 230 people. It is responsible for carrying out all network-related business and work processes in accordance with the Energy Industry Act. The company is part of the WSW Group with around 3,000 employees.

• You assemble, dismantle and repair low- and high-voltage cables
• You assemble low- and high-voltage joints using cast resin and shrink technology
• You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of low- and high-voltage switching and termination systems
• You will locate and rectify faults in transformer stations, in cable distribution cabinets and on house connection systems
• You will carry out operational switching in the low- and high-voltage grid
• You support cable test van operations and are responsible for transporting electrical equipment

• You have completed training as an energy electronics technician or electrician and are a qualified electrician (in accordance with § 2 DGUV regulation 3 and VDE 1000-10)
• You have knowledge in the field of installation and maintenance of electrical systems
• You have knowledge of high-voltage joints and termination systems
• Ideally, you have a 1-10 kV switching authorization and the authorization to carry out “live work”
• You work independently, safely and in a customer-oriented manner
• You are prepared to take part in the on-call service
• You have at least a class B driving license
• You are qualified to work as a driver, operator of industrial trucks and crane operator for loading cranes
