Electricity grid connection officer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Development and implementation of processes/contracts for the connection of EEG plants, downstream grids, storage facilities and consumers.
- Network management consulting and application of technical connection conditions for large grid customers/EEG plants and development of corresponding grid connection concepts.
- Performing the client role for internal Group projects and helping to design a digitalized connection process.
- Defining contractual and commercial framework conditions for revenue- and cost-optimized grid connection marketing.
- Preparation of decision papers and presentation to the management as well as representation of Stadtwerke München in association committees.
Your qualifications
- Completed technical degree, ideally in electrical engineering, supply engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of energy supply.
- Basic understanding of energy industry contexts, knowledge of supply networks and connection technology is desirable.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex tasks in a structured manner.
- Customer orientation and communication skills coupled with presentation and negotiation skills.
- Openness to the use of M365 software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerAutomate, PowerApp).

Within Stadtwerke München’s grid operator, the Grid Management division is responsible for grid connection, market communication and grid fee calculation. We are therefore playing a key role in the energy transition. As a grid operator, we are particularly faced with the challenge of integrating e-mobility, renewable energy sources and alternative heating concepts.
