As the grid company of MVV, MVV Netze GmbH is responsible for the operation of its electricity, gas, district heating and water grids in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with around 500 employees.
Your tasks
As an electricity grid fitter (m/f/d), you will ensure the function of our overhead line and street lighting systems. You will carry out installation work on the 1 kV and 20 kV cable and overhead line networks as well as street lighting systems and check their function, maintain them and put them into operation You classify and repair damage You document and evaluate your measurement, test and work results You carry out switching measures You manage or work on (sub-) projects
Your qualifications
Completed training in electrical engineering with a focus on power cables and overhead lines Several years of professional experience Knowledge of the relevant technical regulations and the current status of standards and ordinances, live working (AuS) and 1 kV switching authorization High resilience in situations with a large number of faults and enjoy working independently Class B driving license and willingness to participate in on-call duty
