Grid Field Operations Germany (GFG) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the German electricity grid, ensuring a secure supply for our end customers and society as a whole. Your tasks

  • You will be responsible for inspections as well as maintenance and repair work on the high and extra-high voltage grid within the service region
  • You carry out work on the pylon, e.g. replacing cables or chains
  • You will be responsible for instructing, coordinating and carrying out quality assurance for work carried out by external companies
  • To ensure an uninterrupted energy supply, you will also regularly be on call in the region
  • You coordinate the activities and work processes with other departments

Your qualifications

  • You have completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, metalworker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility or knowledge in the field of high-voltage cables
  • Confident handling of the MS Office package is no problem for you
  • You are suitable for working at heights and are willing to go through the G41
  • You are willing to take on alternating external activities
  • A high degree of teamwork, flexibility and independence round off your profile
  • You have a class B driving license (ideally also class C) to be able to reach the construction sites
