Electronics technician / fitter for power grid and energy supply (m/f/d)
SWE Netz GmbH is the operator of Erfurt’s electricity and gas grids. The subsidiary of the Stadtwerke Erfurt Group provides the grid infrastructure in the state capital with a supply area of approx. 59 km² for the electricity grid and approx. 40 km² for the gas grid. As the city’s network and metering point operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance, construction and expansion of the gas and electricity networks and the associated systems.
Your tasks
- Use your technical expertise to ensure that electricity reliably reaches where it is needed. You can look forward to varied tasks in grid operation, modern work equipment and a strong team that works together to secure the region’s energy supply.
- Carrying out switching operations in electrical grids from 1 to 110 kV
- Preparation, execution and monitoring of work in the electricity grid
- Troubleshooting and fault rectification in the grid area
- Assembly and disassembly of temporary construction power supplies and insulation
- Coordination and supervision of construction work in the vicinity of electrical installations
- Instruction and supervision of external companies and service providers
- Technical documentation and processing of orders using modern software applications
- Participation in on-call duty to ensure a reliable power supply
Your qualifications
- Completed training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d), electrical system fitter (m/f/d), electrical installer (m/f/d) or comparable qualification in the field of electrical engineering
- Knowledge as a qualified electrician and safe handling of electrical systems and machines
- Initial experience in the field of power grids or grid operation is desirable, but not a prerequisite
- Technical understanding, manual dexterity and interest in modern energy supply
- Confident handling of PC applications and digital work tools, e.g. MS Office
- Friendly and confident manner towards customers, colleagues and partner companies
- Class B driving license
