Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering / Electrician (m/f/d)

EWN GmbH is a company of the EWN Group. It is responsible for the decommissioning of decommissioned nuclear facilities and for the reliable disposal of the resulting residual materials and radioactive waste.

Your Responsibilities

  • Performing maintenance, servicing, and installation work on electrical and electrotechnical systems
  • Maintenance, inspection, and upkeep of electrical components in building systems, energy systems, and mechanical engineering
  • Monitoring and ensuring the operational readiness of electrical systems as well as control and safety systems
  • Planning, coordinating, and performing switching operations in electrical networks at voltage levels ranging from 220 V DC to 110 kV AC
  • Carrying out all necessary measures to ensure the safe operation and management of a closed industrial electrical network
  • Testing, commissioning, and approval of machines, systems, and electrical equipment following maintenance and repair work
  • Analyzing and resolving malfunctions, as well as assisting with fault diagnosis
  • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, test reports, and switching records
  • Cross-disciplinary support for power supply facilities and systems
  • Participating in modernization, optimization, and infrastructure projects
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, labor, environmental, and safety regulations

Your Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training (at least 3 years) as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Systems (m/f/d), Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Systems (m/f/d), Industrial Electrician (m/f/d), or comparable training in electrical engineering
  • Ideally, initial professional experience in the fields of industrial engineering, energy supply, industrial plants, or maintenance
  • Good understanding of circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems is a plus
  • Willingness to pursue further professional training, such as obtaining switching authorizations up to 110/155 kV, for live-line work, or as a first responder
  • Technical understanding and confident adherence to work, safety, and accident prevention regulations
  • Interest in pursuing further qualification as a Master Electrician (m/f/d) or Technician (m/f/d)
  • Willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call duty
  • An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills
