Electronics Technician / Heating System Service Technician (m/f/d)
Full-time or part-time | 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Germany | With professional experience
Be part of the energy transition—as an Electronics Technician / Heating System Service Technician (m/f/d) in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm!
In this role, you’ll ensure that people, businesses, and institutions are reliably supplied with heat and that our district heating systems operate stably at all times.
You can expect a technically exciting workday with plenty of creative freedom: from maintenance and repairs to fault analysis and the optimization of modern supply systems. You’ll work primarily independently within the Pfaffenhofen city limits, with short commutes, clear structures, and a company car (based at your work location) for your daily assignments. For more complex tasks, your team will of course be there to support you.
If you enjoy taking on responsibility, love technical challenges, and want to be part of a forward-looking energy supply system, you’re a perfect fit for us!
Here are the skills you’ll need...
Technical Qualifications:
- You have a technical background, such as a degree in HVAC maintenance, mechatronics, industrial electronics, or a similar field.
Professional Experience and Expertise:
- Experience in district heating, heating, air conditioning, or energy technology is a plus and will help you get started in our field of plant engineering.
- Expertise in measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR) gives you additional advantages.
- A technical understanding of process and utility engineering as well as plant engineering (e.g., pumps, heat exchangers, valves, control systems) is desirable and will help you analyze complex systems.
Additional skills:
- You’re confident working with digital tools, whether it’s a tablet, MS Office, or digital documentation tools.
- Being on call approximately every four weeks (paid according to the collective bargaining agreement) is no problem for you; in your day-to-day work, however, you’ll benefit from regular daytime shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Excellent German language skills and a Class B driver’s license round out your profile.
...and here’s where they come into play!
Plant Operation and Maintenance:
- You’ll keep our district heating systems in top condition by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing pipes, transfer stations, and components.
- You’ll take the reins and ensure optimal performance of our district heating stations by commissioning our systems and continuously optimizing them.
Fault Management and Safety:
- When a malfunction occurs, you spring into action immediately: analyze, decide, resolve—and the heat supply keeps flowing.
- Through measurements, tests, and a trained eye for numbers, you ensure technical quality and document everything precisely.
Digitalization and Systems Engineering:
- Digital systems? No problem for you. You identify errors in remote-reading systems and keep data communication running smoothly—a real contribution to the digital future of our facilities.
Customer Service & Collaboration:
- In direct contact with customers, you demonstrate technical expertise, identify opportunities for savings, and actively promote energy efficiency.
