As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. • You carry out the energy quantity balancing for the electricity and gas divisions in a timely and quality-assured manner
• By carefully analysing and optimizing relevant influencing factors, you actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the difference time series and minimize the risk of high balancing energy costs
• Your tasks include processing the accompanying market processes in accordance with the MaBiS, GaBi Gas and KoV specifications
• You will be responsible for preparing format adjustments, carrying out tests and then approving them
• You create statistics and subject-specific evaluations and develop them further

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally you have a commercial degree
• You have good industry knowledge of the energy sector, in particular the legal basis and processes, as well as relevant professional experience in this environment
• Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in working with the Soptim NEM and NZM systems as well as SAP IS-U
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills, solution orientation and a high level of self-motivation
• You have the ability to cooperate across departments and value teamwork
