As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. • You juggle figures, data and processes – and make sure that our energy volume balancing for electricity and gas is not only on time, but also spot on
• You recognize patterns where others only see data: With your analytical eye, you optimize difference time series and keep balancing energy costs in check
• You are in the thick of things instead of just being there – you are confident and solution-oriented in the market processes relating to MaBiS, GaBi Gas and KoV
• Systems are your toolbox: you configure our balancing software, test new formats and document adjustments – in a structured, forward-looking manner and with technical sensitivity
• You get to the bottom of things: when it comes to clarifying market formats such as MSCONS, ALOCAT, UTILMD, IFTSTA, APERAK & Co. you take on the technical responsibility – and always find a solution
• You keep an eye on quality: Whether it’s balancing or gas allocation – you monitor, safeguard and develop measures that really make a difference
• You think in regulatory terms: New requirements from the BNetzA? You recognize what needs to be done – and implement it independently
• You do the math and order with foresight: You calculate gas capacities precisely and check invoices from upstream network operators with a trained eye

• You have a solid foundation – a completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by a degree in the energy industry or technical field
• The energy world is your home – you know the processes, understand the interrelationships and have already gained experience in the industry
• Tools such as Soptim NEM/NZM or SAP IS-U? No problem for you – or you are ready to familiarize yourself with curiosity and a love of learning
• You think analytically & act in a structured manner – you never lose sight of the big picture, even with complex tasks
• You are a team player with attitude – strong communicator, open to new perspectives and willing to think and help shape across departments
