KEA Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Baden-Württemberg GmbH is the state’s energy agency. KEA-BW’s task is to actively participate in climate protection measures in Baden-Württemberg: it supports the state government in promoting the topics of energy saving, rational energy use and the use of renewable energies. KEA-BW also focuses on sustainable mobility and water management tasks.

Buildings account for a third of energy consumption in Baden-Württemberg – so there is an urgent need to increase the efficiency of old buildings. As a KEA-BW competence center, Zukunft Altbau provides neutral and free information on all issues relating to energy-efficient building renovation and modernization.
Your tasks
- Expert advice for citizens, tradespeople and energy consultants, both independently and as part of a team
- Technical support for energy consultants and training of multipliers in the team
- Further developing the content of the portfolio for technical topics relating to energy-efficient refurbishment
- Advising on the content of public relations work with technical expertise, for example in the creation and maintenance of text content and graphics in collaboration with the agency
- Recording and analyzing the content of topic-related opinions expressed by the public on the subject of energy-efficient refurbishment and contributing expertise in the sense of a neutral and manufacturer-independent assessment
- Content-related support at events, for example in the design of topics and selection of speakers and, in individual cases, consulting activities on the refurbishment mobile and at trade fairs
Your qualifications
- A university degree – at least a bachelor’s or university of applied sciences degree in construction or a related field, qualified energy consultants including knowledge of verification and funding processes are preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction and systems engineering, building envelope and building physics, preferably also the basics of PV, storage, HEMS, etc.
- Basic knowledge of economic feasibility studies, costs, legislation (GEG) and the relevant funding programs (BEG)
- MS Office skills and MS Teams experience
- Strong communication skills, service orientation, ability to work in a team and confident demeanor
- Enjoyment and creativity in diverse and complex tasks
- A high degree of initiative and professionalism, reliability and flexibility
- Very good written and spoken German
- A clear attitude and motivation for climate protection and sustainable development.
