Energy Data and Forecast Manager Electricity & Gas (m/f/d)

• You record, analyze and manage our energy data in BelVis.
• You create and optimize forecasts for future energy requirements on a short, medium and long-term basis. You will analyze historical data and take into account influencing factors such as weather forecasts and seasonal fluctuations. You also carry out day-ahead adjustments and schedule and balancing group registrations.
• You will monitor the energy flow and consumption in real time and create regular reports to present the results and identify optimization potential.
• Together as a team, you will optimize and further develop processes, such as improving forecasts for dynamic tariffs, integrating photovoltaic systems or developing new products for our customers.
• In the area of portfolio management, you will provide support in the procurement of electricity, gas and certificates and ensure that we receive the energy we need at the best price.
• You will be responsible for various energy-related tasks, such as electricity labeling on customers’ bills, support with trading in guarantees of origin and the procurement of CO2 reduction certificates and BEHG certificates for gas.

• You have completed your (university) studies in business administration, energy management or economics. Alternatively, have you completed other further training and have several years of professional experience in the energy sector? Great, then you’ll fit in with us too.
• You are well versed in the energy industry, especially in energy data management and balancing group management as well as forecast management (electricity / gas).
• Ideally, you are already familiar with the BelVis and SAP S/4 HANA Utilities energy data management systems.
• You are a master of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
• You also have a good command of market rules such as MaBis or GaBi Gas.
• You love to work analytically and conceptually and are a strong communicator and team player.
