Energy Efficiency Manager (m/f/d)

• You are responsible for managing and advising the technologies in the identification, evaluation and implementation of energy efficiency measures and CO2 reduction potentials
• You ensure the cost-effectiveness of the systems in terms of energy consumption
• You contribute to the co-design and implementation of measures to achieve sustainable energy targets and the PPU’s internal CO2 targets
• You will be responsible for working independently on energy management and technical issues, developing alternative solutions, identifying substitution options in the area of energy management and actively managing implementation with the necessary interfaces
• You are responsible for the development, implementation and regular operational preparation of a reporting system for energy controlling and the associated control system
• You will develop and optimize processes and take responsibility for energy controlling
• You will independently identify energy-saving potential and plan technical measures to achieve the specified technical energy-saving targets
• You design, optimize and maintain the energy management system and carry out audits independently
• You continuously monitor the energy performance to check the progress of the defined targets
• You develop decision papers for investment and energy efficiency projects
• You examine options with regard to applying for funding at state, federal and EU level
• You are a competent contact person in the field of energy management and exchange ideas, processes and results with our international locations

• You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, possibly with prior vocational training in electrical engineering, facility management/energy management or supply engineering
• You have several years of professional experience and experience in the management of energy management systems
• You have experience in planning and implementing energy projects in an industrial environment
• You have a keen interest in the topics of sustainability and energy efficiency and an overarching understanding of environmental and climate protection as well as knowledge of environmental law
• Very good German and English language skills and a confident manner in an international and cultural context are no problem for you
