• As a fault clearance service technician, you will be involved in initial protection, fault diagnosis and fault clearance at all voltage levels up to 36 kV, including industrial transfer and customer systems.
• You will be responsible for troubleshooting faulty systems independently and autonomously as well as for the complete and legally compliant documentation of all fault events, including updating the plans. Your work will help to minimize VU times.
• You will independently carry out switching operations in the systems of enercity Netz and its customers up to the 36 kV voltage level and document these in the corresponding IT systems.
• If necessary, you will use measurement techniques to carry out simplified fault location. You must be able to assess the results and initiate the necessary follow-up measures.
• Carrying out repairs to regional and national urban lighting systems and their control systems independently rounds off your job profile.
• As part of the round-the-clock electricity fault clearance service, you will be responsible for initial safety and emergency response in the event of faults in our supply systems. Together with 10 other team members, you will deal with this important issue.
• Your tasks include ensuring that electrical power supply systems up to the 36 kV voltage level are fault cleared professionally and in accordance with the applicable regulations and standards. This includes the entire enercity grid concession area (including city lighting) as well as customer systems with service contracts.

• You have completed training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering / automation technology, as a power system electronics technician or have a comparable qualification.
• You are already familiar with power supply systems and networks from 0.4 to 36 kV. You can carry out live work safely or would like to learn to do so.
• You already have a switching license or are ready to qualify for a switching license up to 36 kV.
• You are familiar with the relevant legal and trade association regulations as well as the corresponding VDE standards.
• You are happy to contribute your responsible and independent way of working alone or in collaboration with the team. You have a high level of safety awareness and a willingness to learn.
• Working on an aerial work platform up to a height of 20 m is easy for you.
• Participation in 24/7 shift work is no problem for you.
• Your personality is characterized by a high sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team, quick decision-making skills, systematic thinking, an objective approach in the event of faults and in particularly stressful situations.
• In addition, you already have experience in dealing with IT systems, such as equipment databases or work control tools, or are willing to learn them.
