Energy Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Implementation, continuous development and expansion of an energy management system
- Analysis of municipal buildings and their energy consumption to identify potential for optimization
- Determining the need for action and developing measures for municipal energy management at municipal properties to save energy
- Developing concepts for improving technical building systems and the effective integration of renewable energies
- Implementing measures to improve the energy efficiency of buildings in coordination with the building managers
- Preparation, organization and implementation of training courses and workshops on energy topics for users of municipal buildings
- Planning requirements and applying for funding for energy management measures
- Developing a measuring point concept for accurate data collection
- Preparation of the energy report and monitoring in accordance with Section 18 of the Climate Protection and Climate Change Adaptation Act
- Setting up and maintaining the energy management software
- Committee and public relations work
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university studies (diploma or bachelor’s degree) in the fields of energy management, electrical engineering, supply engineering, building services engineering, heating, ventilation and sanitation, air conditioning and environmental protection, environmental engineering, sustainability or a comparable technical-engineering field of study or
- Technician or master craftsman (f/m/d) in the fields of electrical engineering, installation and heating engineering, energy and building services engineering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology, refrigeration and air conditioning systems technology, environmental protection technology and renewable energies with relevant experience in the field of “energy management” or comparable qualifications with corresponding proof of experience
- Interest in energy management and the efficient use of energy
- Good knowledge of relevant energy laws and energy regulations as well as the Building Energy Act and the Renewable Energy Act
