Energy quantity balancing manager (m/f/d)

Then you've come to the right place! In the role of Balancing Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure that our energy volumes are correctly balanced - a key component of a reliable and sustainable energy system.
At our company, you will combine commercial and technical understanding with process responsibility and help to ensure that our market role as a distribution grid and metering point operator runs smoothly every day
Your energy is needed here:
- Software & systems
- You are responsible for the configuration, further development and stable operation of the balancing and EDM systems
- You plan, coordinate and document tests, technical acceptances and system adjustments and ensure a future-proof system landscape
- Market communication
- You take on the technical clarification of EDIFACT messages and ensure that market communication runs smoothly
- You analyze anomalies and clarify them in a solution-oriented manner in cooperation with market partners and internal teams
- Balancing quality
- You monitor, analyze and ensure the quality of energy quantity balancing for electricity and gas and derive optimization measures
- You coordinate closely with related departments such as metering point, grid usage and grid feed-in management
- Regulatory affairs
- You monitor regulatory requirements (e.g. MaKo, MaBiS, GaBi Gas, KoV) and assess their impact
- You derive necessary process and system adjustments and ensure timely implementation

- A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship forms your professional basis
- You have several years of experience in balancing management for electricity and gas and are confident in the energy industry environment
- You have very good knowledge of the relevant processes, deadlines and data formats in the MaBiS and GaBi-Gas environment
- You are comfortable with energy industry market forms such as EDIFACT and XML and have ideally already worked with accounting or EDM systems such as SOPTIM and/or SAP IS-U
- You are characterized by analytical thinking, a structured way of working and a strong understanding of quality and processes
- You work independently, enjoy taking on responsibility and impress with your strong communication skills, team spirit and motivation to actively develop topics further
