Engineer as project manager for energy systems and engine power plants (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Independent processing of thermal power plant projects in experienced teams with a focus on engine power plants
- You keep an eye on the status quo and the roadmap of manufacturers and operators regarding the use of H2, NH3, MeOH in large engines and advise our customers on these developments
- Exciting and varied tasks arise for our different customer groups:
- For operators: Independent management, consulting and participation in the project planning and execution of energy plants and power plant projects, in particular engine power plants with the ‘new’ green fuels, including the preparation of feasibility studies, plant concepts, preliminary and draft planning, tenders as well as bid evaluation and clarification up to commissioning. Also the planning and support of new construction projects and plant expansions (technical and logistical), coordination in multidisciplinary teams with customers and other project participants
- For developers : Technical and, if necessary, technical-economic consulting services in our national and international projects in cooperation with financial and legal advisors
- For investors : Intensive analysis and evaluation of current power plants and energy facilities as part of our technical due diligences
Your qualifications
- Degree in engineering (Master’s/Diploma) in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, power plant engineering or comparable
- At least five years of professional experience in the field of engines, engine power plants, combined heat and power plants and CHP plants
- Preferably initial experience as a technical project manager or engineering manager
- Affinity for further developing new areas of responsibility, e.g. the efficient use of “green fuels” in power plants and process plants
- Solid basic knowledge of thermal process engineering (e.g. water/steam processes)
- Knowledge of the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of thermal power plants as well as maintenance and repair concepts and contracts for large engines is an advantage
- Fluency in German and English
- Highly motivated team player with an interest in taking on responsibility in small or larger teams in local and international projects
