Engineer / Business Economist (m/f/d) in Regulation / Network Management Principle Electricity

Your tasks
- You will independently carry out the planning and forecasting process in the electricity sector and prepare evaluations of energy volumes and the company’s revenue situation. You will also evaluate complex energy industry issues to determine receivables and liabilities as part of the financial statements.
- You will be responsible for determining the loss energy quantities and percentages for each voltage level and carry out the monthly tenders for the procurement of loss energy (long-term and short-term components). You will recognize any need for adjustments within the current tendering periods at an early stage.
- You will independently supervise projects to implement new complex legal and regulatory requirements in the energy and grid sector.
- You will develop new processes and optimize existing processes, particularly in the areas of energy volume balancing and volume forecasts, while ensuring a high level of quality assurance.
- You will determine and develop forecasting approaches for the load and volume behavior of customers to optimize balancing and fee calculation as well as to support quarterly financial statements and projections.
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or economics – ideally with a Master’s degree.
- Ideally, you already have 3-4 years of professional experience and have been able to gain initial insights into the relevant subject areas.
- You work confidently and efficiently with common MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- You are interested in business management, regulatory and network management issues – and you enjoy actively helping to shape strategic topics.
- Thanks to your analytical thinking and quick comprehension skills, you can quickly find your way around complex contexts and large amounts of data.
- You are committed, structured and a strong communicator – and actively contribute to the team.
