Engineer Grid Control Systems m/f/d
WEMAG Netz GmbH from Schwerin operates – as a subsidiary of WEMAG – a supply network for electrical energy in western Mecklenburg as well as in parts of Brandenburg and Lower Saxony. The grid area covers approx. 8,000 square kilometers. Around 15,000 kilometers of lines are used for the safe and high-quality distribution of electricity.
Your tasks
- Coordination and implementation of network model data maintenance for an online network calculation including the implementation of documentation requirements in the network control system in coordination with the users
- Quality assurance in the area of state estimation in the control system
- Commissioning of systems in the grid control system, including coordination and implementation of data tests and troubleshooting
- Ensuring the safe and proper operation of the redispatch system in the OT environment to maintain the supply and minimize technical risks and negative external effects
- Coordination and implementation of data model maintenance in the OT redispatch system
- Responsibility for the OT sub-process system control in the redispatch process and cross-departmental support of activities for process design and optimization
- Participation in the parameterization and design of the OT systems for congestion management
- Coordination of services in the context of control technology processes (control system, OT redispatch system)
- Participation in internal and external working groups, moderation and coordination with all relevant stakeholders, promotion of continuous exchange and coordination to advance decision-making processes in the area of responsibility
- Working on current special topics
Your qualifications
- Completed (technical) university education in the field of electrical engineering, business informatics or a comparable degree
- Knowledge of the basics of distribution network design
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, data management systems
- Knowledge of the structure of power supply systems
- Committed communication skills, ability to work in a team, service orientation and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and acting
- Conceptual skills
- Security check for KRITIS area
- Class B driving license
