Engineer Grid Operation Electricity – Energy Supply (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Security of supply: Together with the team, you will develop measures to ensure a reliable energy supply, minimize risks, prevent hazards and define standards for the equipment in the electricity distribution grid.
- Strategy: You will work closely with our management team on the strategic and future-oriented further development of the specialist area and the electrical grids.
- Occupational health and safety: You check and monitor the occupational health and safety regulations (including maintaining the risk assessment, hazardous substance instructions, work instructions) for grid operation.
- Project work: Your ideas and experience will be incorporated into other topics and projects as well as internal working groups, where you will actively contribute to innovative solutions. Here you will also support the implementation of statutory provisions, e.g. Section 14a EnWG and the municipal heating and energy transition.
- Grid analysis and fault assessment: You will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the grid status as well as grid and system faults and actively participate in the processes for maintenance and renewal strategies.
Your qualifications
- Degree: You have an engineering degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a specialization in energy technology.
- Professional experience: You have at least 2 years of professional experience and have an idea of the grid operator’s field of work. You are motivated to support us in our utility role. Experience in dealing with the creation of work and procedural instructions is an advantage.
- Competence profile: You work independently, in a structured manner and with a high degree of team spirit. You are characterized by your communication skills, willingness to take responsibility and your independent way of working.
- Mobility: You have a class B driver’s license and are prepared to work on call in the future.
