We are looking for dedicated reinforcement for our "Planning/Building Westphalia; Dortmund team" at the Dortmund location as soon as possible.
The team, based in Dortmund, is responsible for a very interesting and broad range of tasks (electrical power engineering, control, protection and control technology, construction technology) at the high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) voltage levels in the electricity distribution grid of Westnetz GmbH. The interdisciplinary team of project management, primary technology, secondary technology and construction technology carries out planning and construction activities in the course of modernization, refurbishment and new construction in substations of Westnetz GmbH as well as industrial customers and municipal distributors or grid operators. You will work in a team with other colleagues and successfully implement the tasks assigned to you.
That's what you stand for:
- You will plan and design the primary technical components for the construction and conversion of stations at the high/medium voltage levels and contribute to the development of technical specifications for the standardization of electrotechnical trades
- You develop concepts, examine/evaluate variants and calculate costs for project approval and for preparing offers to internal and external customers
- Your portfolio includes creating implementation plans, preparing tender documents and supporting the awarding process as well as scheduling and calling off deliveries and services
- Your tasks also include construction and project budget responsibility in the main/specialist project management: You are responsible for ensuring that the commissioned projects are implemented on time, within budget and in terms of quality (project controlling with direct responsibility for results and commercial results)
- You are responsible for and organize the quality assurance to be carried out in the projects as well as the implementation of the requirements for occupational health and safety, environmental protection and health protection, including documentation
- Processing and answering complex customer inquiries, inventory information and maintaining factual data is also part of your area of responsibility
What you bring to the table:
- You have successfully completed a technical degree in electrical engineering or have a comparable qualification. In addition, you ideally have knowledge of high/medium voltage technology from working in the energy supply company sector
- You have good project management skills and a good technical and commercial understanding, which have been successfully applied in project implementations
- You are confident in using MS Office applications and SAP, have good German language skills (German: C1 level) and are willing to work on business trips
- You are aware of potential dangers in the work environment and take care of yourself and others
- You recognize problems and analyze the causes
- You actively promote cooperation by involving everyone involved
- You are able to defend your own ideas against resistance
- You develop a sensible approach to achieve the specified goals
