Your tasks
Design and coordination of protection systems in the high and medium-voltage grid Calculation of setting parameters for protection relays Parameterization of protection and control technology as well as visualization systems Testing (commissioning and repeat testing) and fault clearance of the protection and control technology, taking into account the technical and economic framework conditions As the person responsible for work / systems with authority to issue instructions, you will carry out on-site monitoring and checks on your own employees and external companies in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100 You monitor compliance with external and internal regulations Analyze complex faults in the high and medium-voltage grid Collaboration in the improvement of the ISMS information security system Ensuring the implementation of measures to comply with occupational safety and information security (ISMS) Responsibility for the execution, monitoring and control of new construction, conversion and maintenance measures for protection and control systems Monitoring and adherence to project-related budget specifications for measures and participation in the preparation of supplementary management You coordinate with external companies within the scope of projects and work together with the responsible internal project managers You support other teams with your knowledge, e.g. project planning, sales
Your qualifications
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering Several years of professional experience in the field of protection and control technology Confident handling of relevant IT systems, MS Office products and SAP Knowledge of network calculation programs and parameterization software (S1, COMM-3, Engineering Center, DIGSI, Toolbox, Device Manager) Experience in dealing with test technology (OMICRON, WinPP) Knowledge of communication protocols and networks (IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-103/-104) with consideration of cybersecurity requirements High level of self-motivation and initiative as well as willingness to learn and flexibility Ability to work independently, confident demeanor and strong teamwork skills Class B driving license Willingness to participate in on-call duty
