Engineer Grid Strategy / Planning HS Grid m/f/d
WEMAG Netz GmbH from Schwerin operates - as a subsidiary of WEMAG - a supply network for electrical energy in western Mecklenburg as well as in parts of Brandenburg and Lower Saxony. The grid area covers approx. 8,000 square kilometers. Around 15,000 kilometers of lines are used for the safe and high-quality distribution of electricity.
Your tasks
- Developing strategies, concepts and planning principles for the construction and conversion of the high-voltage grid, taking load and feed-in trends into account
- Commissioning new construction and conversion projects in the HV grid
- Monitoring the technical and economic implementation of the commissioned projects
- Participation in the preparation of the construction program and adjustments to the forecast/annual planning
- Development of generation and grid security management for EEG plants
- Contact person for grid management issues
- Coordination and processing of issues with the TSO
- Supporting grid calculations for grid concepts
- Collaboration in the creation of company standards and guidelines
- Preparation and supervision of studies
- Processing of current key topics
- Project management and maintenance of project data
- Collaboration in project groups, committees and associations
Your profile
- Completed (technical) university degree in the field of electrical engineering or comparable
- IT skills in the area of network information systems, MS Office and databases
- Extensive knowledge of energy law (EnWG, EEG and regulations)
- Organizational, conceptual and communication skills as well as a high degree of independence
- Class B driving license
