Engineer / Project Manager Energy and Building Technology for building construction projects
The Office of Facility Management is a service provider for various municipal buildings and assumes the role of owner. The entire life cycle of a building is covered, from the planning and implementation of a new building, the leasing and letting of buildings, to management during the utilization phase and the conversion of buildings.
Your tasks
- Project management / project control in the planning and implementation of complex building construction measures as well as representing the client with a focus on building services engineering
- Processing various specialist topics as part of project management/project control and controlling the implementation standards of the relevant trades
- Collaboration in the preparation of documents for the political committees and presentation of the project to the public
- Coordination with those involved in planning (departments of the office, other offices of the state capital Düsseldorf, other authorities and institutions as well as third parties)
- Specification of qualities as well as participation in acceptances, briefings and handover of inspection documents to ensure subsequent operation
- Collaboration in the commissioning, inspection and monitoring of the work results of external service providers and engineering firms.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering / Science / Arts in the field of energy & building technology / supply engineering / sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology or comparable qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in the field of project management, project control for complex building construction measures as well as in planning and construction management
- Knowledge of HOAI and public procurement law as well as VOB, experience in the areas of BIM and sustainability desirable
- Customer-oriented behavior in the role of the office as a service provider
- Personal commitment and initiative, an independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as reliability and flexibility
- Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, negotiating skills and very good verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of an unrestricted class 3 or EU standard B driving license desirable.
