Entrepreneurial leader (m/f/d) with strategic vision, operational excellence, and a positive, proactive mindset

Eggolsheim, Erfurt
Full-time
Active since: 10.08.2026

You’re surely familiar with naturstrom AG—a pioneer in green electricity supply in Germany since 1998 and now a renowned player in the energy market with over 300,000 customers.

Then you should also be familiar with NaturEnergy GmbH & Co KGaA, which was established six years ago through the spin-off of the former power generation division. This company, in which naturstrom AG continues to hold a majority of the shares but in which more than 2,000 citizens have already become shareholders, is directly and indirectly active across the entire spectrum of energy supply from renewable energy sources: from project development and implementation, through operations management and service, to the support of operating companies—all while involving citizens, municipalities, and municipal utilities—and ensuring the sale of the electricity produced at prices as close to market rates as possible.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader (m/f/d) who will guide NaturEnergy into the future with strategic vision, operational excellence, and a positive approach

Advancing climate protection, expanding sustainability, increasing resilience, strengthening decentralization, and engaging citizens… these are central aspects of NaturEnergy’s mission. Accordingly, the company offers a great opportunity for someone who consistently embraces economic, ecological, and social thinking and action as a personal challenge and calling—all within the framework of our mission to contribute to a secure and affordable energy supply in Germany through the use of renewable energy.

We at NaturEnergy are convinced that successful entrepreneurship must be based on strong values. Our shareholders have entrusted us with the following mission as set forth in our articles of incorporation:

“The company does not pursue short-term profit maximization, but rather long-term, stable development for itself as an economically oriented organizational unit as well as for its natural and social environment. The imperative of the company’s business activities is its substantive mission to contribute to a sustainable and future-proof energy supply on the generation side, not the distribution of profits to shareholders.”

NaturEnergy is an unlisted limited partnership with a share capital (Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien) with approximately 2,000 shareholders. Within the naturstrom Group, the company is responsible for the energy supply business segment. It focuses on wind and solar energy as well as storage and grids. Together with its operating subsidiaries NaturStromProjekte GmbH, NaturStromNetze GmbH, and NATEN Betriebsführung GmbH, NaturEnergy is committed to the long-term development and implementation of projects—from project development and implementation through investments and financing to plant operation and electricity supply—at 9 locations in Germany with approximately 150 employees. Above all, however, it holds stakes in companies that operate wind and solar farms, storage facilities, or grid connections.

The advertised position involves not only managing NaturEnergy Verwaltung GmbH, the general partner of NaturEnergy GmbH & Co KGaA, where you will primarily be responsible for investments in new projects and for establishing and maintaining partnerships; it is also planned that you will join the management of NaturStromProjekte GmbH.

NaturEnergy holds a 50% stake in NaturStromProjekte GmbH (“NSP”); the remaining 50% is held by naturstrom AG. With currently approximately 90 employees, NSP manages the project development and implementation of wind and solar farms as well as energy storage facilities. It is also the sole shareholder of the unincorporated NaturStromAnlagen GmbH (“NSA”), through which project implementation is carried out as a general contractor, depending on the shareholder structure. NSA’s services are provided by NSP staff and overseen by NSP management.
