• To strengthen our Energy Trading Concepts team, we are looking for an expert in marketing forecasts and energy trading processes (m/f/d) for the conceptual development of energy marketing processes at TenneT. You will ensure that processes and IT systems are optimally coordinated and always comply with regulatory requirements.
• Quality monitoring: You will drive the establishment of regular monitoring of the data relevant for marketing and thus ensure stable data quality
• Analyzing data and processes: You analyze the data on which the forecasts are based as well as marketing processes, identify potential for improvement and evaluate these with the experts in the switching lines with regard to feasibility
• Analysis of framework conditions: You analyze the applicable legal and regulatory framework conditions, check the processes for legal compliance and also identify any need for adjustments
• Implementation of optimization measures: Together with the experts in the switching lines and other internal interfaces (IT, purchasing, etc.), you implement the identified adaptation requirements and potential improvements to the processes and IT systems
• Cooperation with external service providers: You are the contact person for external service providers (e.g. data suppliers), ensure continuous communication with the service providers and ensure that TenneT’s requirements are met by them
• The Operate System & Markets unit controls electricity transmission operations in real time to ensure system stability and security of supply. It coordinates the entire operational value chain, including capacity calculation, congestion management, redispatch and balancing. It also develops market processes, energy trading, balancing groups and customer interfaces, maintains data and reporting systems and acts as a central interface to national and European regulatory authorities and transmission system operators.

• Academic background: A degree (university/university of applied sciences) in energy economics, economics, mathematics, computer science or engineering is the basis for your success
• Energy trading experience: You have professional experience in the field of electricity trading and/or energy markets and ideally experience in managing projects and dealing with external service providers
• Expertise in data analysis: You have very good knowledge in the field of data analysis and have already gained experience in working with common tools and methods for data analysis (Python, PowerBI, SQL etc.)
• Analytical communication talent: In addition to strong communication skills in German and English, you have a structured way of working, analytical thinking and initiative
