We are looking for new colleagues to join our unique sales team at our company headquarters in Potsdam as

Your tasks

  • Acquisition of waste for our landfills and our hazardous waste incineration plant (SAV)
  • Acquisition of new customers and regular visits, advice and support for existing customers
  • Evaluating chemical analyses to determine suitable disposal routes in compliance with the relevant legal framework conditions
  • Preparing offers and concluding contracts with new and existing customers
  • Calculating projects and preparing and conducting price negotiations
  • Preparation and processing of tenders
  • Monitoring and controlling projects and major contracts, including site inspections
  • Maintaining and analyzing customer data
  • Preparation of documentation, evaluations and tabular overviews
  • Creation and maintenance of databases
  • Continuous market observation in the sales area

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, engineering or natural sciences as well as initial professional experience in sales in the waste disposal and/or recycling industry
  • Alternatively, successfully completed training with several years of relevant professional experience in the waste industry
  • A sound understanding of waste management and a confident handling of relevant technical and organizational requirements in waste management operations
  • You have a confident manner and strong negotiation and presentation skills when dealing with customers and contacts at various levels
  • You have the ability to reliably identify and analyze customer needs and market potential and derive suitable solutions from them
  • You are characterized by a structured, solution-oriented and discreet way of working with a high level of self-motivation and reliability as well as the ability to take responsibility and drive issues forward independently
  • You maintain an overview even in demanding and stressful situations and always act professionally and thoughtfully
  • You have very good communication skills in German at C2 level
  • A good command of English is desirable
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Possession of a valid class B driving license
