As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a:n
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for installation work as part of the new construction and expansion of high-voltage and medium-voltage primary technology switchgear in plant engineering and cable assembly as well as all secondary technology systems in the areas of electricity supply, natural gas control stations, drinking water systems and wastewater systems
- You will carry out regular inspections of all systems (high, medium and low voltage) for their functional safety, including testing the electrical installation in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100, evaluating the results and deriving measures
- You will also be responsible for activating, troubleshooting and repairing cross-divisional telecontrol, protection and automation technology systems for energy supply in the sensitive infrastructure environment
- You will install, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot battery and emergency power systems
- Various measuring and testing tasks, including recurring tests of high-availability electrical systems of the critical infrastructure and portable equipment in accordance with DIN VDE 0701/0702 and DIN VDE 0105-100 are part of the field of activity
- You will take part in the fault clearance and on-call service and will instruct and supervise external service providers
- You will also assume responsibility for the primary and secondary technology equipment in accordance with DIN VDE 0105 as well as work responsibility for your own specialist work and for other fitters if you are appointed as work supervisor
- Working in live secondary technology systems is part of your tasks
- You will carry out the installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of control cabinets for the E, EG, TW and AW systems in the sensitive infrastructure environment
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed training as an electronics technician for industrial or building services engineering
- Ideally, you already have initial industry knowledge and professional experience in secondary technology
- A high degree of conscientiousness rounds off your profile
- Ideally, you are already familiar with common Office applications
- You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
