Your tasks:
- You are responsible for the creation of day-ahead forecasts / schedules for our energy procurement
- You will further develop new processes for forecast creation, quality assurance and result evaluation and establish them sustainably in the company
- You coordinate the technical implementation and are responsible for the functional implementation of energy data and forecasting algorithms in close cooperation with internal and external partners
- You analyze existing data structures and develop strategies to improve data quality and availability
- You set up and maintain a continuous monitoring and reporting system to evaluate the quality of forecasts
Your profile:
- You have a (Master's) degree in energy economics, industrial engineering, data science or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in the energy industry, ideally in balancing group and schedule management, in the creation of energy consumption forecasts or in energy trading
- You are confident in working with databases, handling large amounts of data and analyzing them, ideally in an energy industry context
- You are no stranger to MaBiS, GPKE and EDIFACT communication
- Ideally, you can make your work easier using VBA, Google Apps Script, Python or SQL
- You impress with your team spirit, strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative
