Foreman for the area of power plant technology (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Commissioning, managing and monitoring external service providers to carry out maintenance and servicing work on the power plants
- Preparation of cost and consumption forecasts on the basis of existing contracts and measurement data
- Drawing up operating plans for TUM’s own energy generation plants in accordance with economic and sustainable aspects
- Collaboration in the implementation of the university’s climate neutrality goal
- Preparing energy and emissions reports for various authorities
- Ensuring compliance with official requirements, current standards and regulations
- Management of the boiler house workshop and management of 8 employees
- Prospective involvement in the so-called “transformation to sustainability” of the TUM buildings
Your qualifications
You have completed a master craftsman’s examination in the field of heat supply / heating technology / power plant technology, plant mechanics, electronics or comparable training. You enjoy working with people. You also have a high degree of discretion and loyalty. You work independently and reliably and are able to prioritize your upcoming issues well. Working in a dynamic environment is a positive challenge for you. You have an engaging manner, a service-oriented attitude and good negotiating and organizational skills. Constructive and networked teamwork is a matter of course for you. If you have a degree from abroad, you can provide certified proof of equivalence with a German degree.
