Stuttgart Netze ensures that people in Stuttgart have a reliable supply of electricity and gas around the clock. As a distribution grid operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600-kilometre-long electricity grid and the 2,100-kilometre-long gas grid in the state capital. In addition to ensuring security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the grids in order to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. We also look after 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital of Stuttgart on its path to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees.
Our employees in the “Stuttgart Operations Service” team ensure that the electricity in Stuttgart always flows. They take care of low-voltage grid management in Stuttgart and the maintenance and repair of our own systems, grid island inspections and grid switching as well as the containment and rectification of faults in the low-voltage grid.
Your tasks
- Varied tasks await you
- Coordinate grid operation: You will process switching requests, oversee switching recommendations and be responsible for the safe operation of the low-voltage grid
- Support projects and maintenance: You will be involved in grid projects and support the planning and implementation of maintenance, servicing and upgrading measures
- Take on order management: You will support work preparation, coordinate the planning of technical orders and monitor their implementation
- Co-design assembly work: You will be involved in coordinating deadlines and the technical handling of assembly and disassembly work in the area of pre-supply systems
- Ensuring fault processes: Together with the team, you ensure smooth processing, documentation and communication in the event of network faults
- Living customer orientation: You will work closely with the fault call acceptance department and support the processing of customer complaints and recourse cases
Your qualifications
- Qualifications: You have completed training as a master electrician, network technician, state-certified technician specializing in power distribution or a comparable qualification based on many years of professional experience
- Professional experience & IT expertise: You have relevant experience in the operation of power grids and are confident in dealing with IT systems
- Flexibility and commitment: You are willing to be on call and can work under pressure even in stressful situations
- Structured way of working: You are characterized by organizational skills, structured processes and strong cost awareness
- Mobility guaranteed: You have a class B driving license and can therefore be deployed flexibly
