Geoscientist (m/f/d) in the field of management systems

Your tasks

  • Coordinate, organize and further develop GIS activities and the geodata infrastructure, including the administration of GIS databases in coordination with colleagues in other departments
  • Carrying out geodata-supported evaluations to support the specialist departments
  • Planning, controlling and improving documentation to ensure that it is provided in line with requirements and in a controlled manner within the department
  • Performing the function of IMS coordinator (m/f/d)
  • Developing practical and standardized solutions for implementing normative requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TSM and other management systems where applicable)
  • Creating, updating and further developing IMS specification documents such as the IMS manual, process and work instructions and other operational documents in coordination with the specialist departments
  • Documenting, carrying out and supporting internal and external audits
  • Taking over project coordination for the Sustainability and Resource Safety department within our water production

Your qualifications

  • Completed diploma/master’s degree in the field of geosciences or comparable
  • Sound experience in dealing with ESRI-based geoinformation systems and databases as well as advanced IT knowledge
  • Experience in using modern communication tools and MS Office products
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management and management systems (preferably ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TSM)
  • In-depth knowledge of process flows within the department
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are an advantage
  • Communication skills, ability to work in a team and personal responsibility
