The modern, flexible service company with a long tradition ensures that energy is available around the clock - and has been doing so for over 160 years! The most important partners here are its own customers, to whom the utility offers a modern, future-oriented energy supply. The main business areas of electricity, natural gas, water and district heating can be found under the Stadtwerke umbrella. This has been the status to date. Now a new business area is being established - geothermal energy.
Your tasks
Establishing the business area at the energy supplier You build up the business field from scratch, get it up and running with the aim of getting geothermal energy into use as a further branch of renewable energies from an engineering, political and economic point of view. You are the person who holds the strings of geothermal energy in your hand, who carries the topic to the population, to politicians and to numerous other stakeholders. Screening the first secured permit fields and new ones, securing contracts and developing geothermal projects Feasibility studies and concept development Negotiating and drafting contracts with owners, operators and public bodies with regard to location, access routes, construction easements, storage sites, etc Meticulously precise project development up to the approval stage (colleagues are responsible for implementation)
Your qualifications
Can you imagine being the face of Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern for geothermal energy? Presenting and promoting your projects here and in the surrounding area - also in English - and on the other hand developing your projects calmly and energetically? Are you the seasoned personality who wants to build this path of renewable energies for Kaiserslautern? And are you the communication-savvy person who has the confidence to build up a completely new business area from the initial idea to its realization? Then we look forward to hearing from you if you have a degree in geology, geography, spatial planning or industrial engineering, for example. You are also welcome if you have training and very relevant professional experience in geothermal energy. Knowledge and skills in geothermal energy are a must, as is experience in the management of large-scale projects.
