As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. • You will carry out installation and dismantling work as well as commissioning measurements on our medium and low-voltage electricity grids and equipment as well as street lighting
• You will carry out demanding maintenance and repair work as well as related tasks, taking into account customer-specific requirements; coordinating construction measures for the digitalization of our distribution grids is also one of your tasks here
• You carry out grid services and independently determine, analyze and eliminate faults
• You will independently carry out switching operations in the street lighting, low-voltage and medium-voltage grid and also perform live work
• You ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations and set an example in this area
• You take part in the regular on-call duty

• You have successfully completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering or comparable training
• Ideally, you have specialist knowledge in the distribution network area, e.g. local network stations, equipment, cables and overhead lines in the medium and low-voltage network and in street lighting
• You are aware of potential hazards in your day-to-day work and actively look out for yourself and others
• Your way of working is characterized by structured, forward-looking action and creative drive: You are proactive, hands-on and reliable
• Even in the face of effort or resistance, you implement things consistently and show a willingness to develop yourself further
• We will work with you to find the location that suits you best
• You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
