Group Leader (f/m/d) Power Plant Office
Your tasks
- Making an important contribution to legally compliant, economical and ecological operation
- Ensuring supply and disposal security and a high level of customer satisfaction at the waste-to-energy plant
- Managing the power plant office including the engineers responsible for legally compliant operation as well as the house and yard services and scales/delivery teams
- Organizing and coordinating the requirements and operator duties and implementing the assigned entrepreneurial duties
- Analysis and scientifically based elaboration of legal approval issues
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment of personnel, technical equipment and systems as well as optimal operating procedures
- Ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining and operational regulations and quality assurance in accordance with QUAMS
- Responsible for planning and budget compliance in the area
- Specification of the department’s target definition with monitoring of compliance and implementation
- Interdisciplinary cooperation in the planning of conversions and new buildings within the area of responsibility
- Strategic tasks for the areas of weighing / incoming goods inspection, house and yard services / logistics, operational analytics and infrastructure
Your qualifications

- Completed university education (Diploma (FH) / Bachelor) in a technical / scientific field with specialization in environmental engineering, air pollution control and at least 4 years of proven professional experience in an equivalent position
- Or
- Completed scientific university education (diploma / master’s degree) in a technical / scientific field with specialization in environmental engineering, air pollution control
- Certificate of competence as an immission control officer
- Several years of proven professional experience in equivalent activities in the operation of mechanical and process engineering plants, in power plants or larger industrial plants
- Good IT skills (e.g. Office package, SAP)
- Quick comprehension and analytical way of thinking
- High level of enthusiasm and initiative
- Ability to work in a team, creativity, confident manner
