As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, gas and drinking water distribution network as well as the operation of metering points. • You actively shape the distribution grid of tomorrow. With your leadership, expertise and experience, you will help make a modern, climate-neutral energy supply a reality. Whether it’s municipal heat planning, the transition from oil and gas to heat pumps, e-mobility, photovoltaics, wind power or water supply after the lignite phase-out – you ensure that our supply grid connections are up to these challenges.from single-family homes to industrial customers with their own customer station: the increasing number of individual and complex customer inquiries makes your area of responsibility exciting, varied and relevant to the future.
• You will lead and develop your team professionally and personally – with a clear structure, trust and team spirit
• You coordinate tasks and processes in the area of grid connections (electricity, gas, water, heat) and ensure efficient, compliant implementation
• Establishing uniform standards and continuously developing our work processes are part of your activities
• As the central point of contact for internal departments and external partners, you ensure smooth project processes
• You ensure that legal requirements, technical regulations and internal guidelines are adhered to – and develop sustainable processes from them
• Your mission:

• You are a technician or master craftsman in the fields of electrical engineering or supply engineering
• We welcome management experience – but your authentic, modern management style is much more important: clear, appreciative, committed
• You work in a structured manner, think ahead and pitch in – even when things get complex
• You implement things consistently, are open to feedback and enjoy developing yourself further
• You have a technical understanding – both for practical solutions and for strategic developments
• You are flexible and mobile – thanks to your class B driver’s license, you are present wherever your expertise is needed
