As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of Rhein-Kreis-Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. Your tasks
- You will lead a team of specialists in the new organizational unit – network operations control – including the implementation of (safety) instructions and continuous further development of your employees
- You will set up and implement the new organizational unit – network operation control – in network operation gas/water/heat
- You will ensure the measures to guarantee proper, safe and economical operation in the area of the assigned gas/water/heat distribution network infrastructure in cooperation with the individual network areas
- You develop and improve the processes and concepts of network operation with the aim of “end-to-end optimization”, in particular for workforce management and network digitization
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve processes and increase efficiency in your team
- You act as a role model for your employees, especially when it comes to occupational safety, environmental protection and health protection
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, supply engineering or a comparable field of study
- You have sound professional experience in the area of operational and planning network business

- You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
