Head (m/f/d) Protection and control technology electricity
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the coordination, development and management of the protection and control technology department and organize all measures in the area of planning, construction and operation of the grid control technology and the cross-connection grid control centre as well as the associated auxiliary, control and ancillary equipment
- IT security for the central and decentralized components of the cross-connection grid control center as well as the planning/project planning of the switching stations and transformer stations, including the supervision of approval and award procedures as well as project controlling
- Grid protection of high-, medium- and low-voltage systems and carry out grid compatibility tests, prepare connection assessments and approvals for generation and consumption systems
- You are the contact person for special customers and the upstream grid operator for technical issues
- Representation for the responsible electrician in accordance with VDE / S 1000 and as a system operator in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100 for the electricity distribution grid operating area
Your qualifications
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, network technology or a comparable course of study
- Sound knowledge in the areas of IT, network and process control technology
- Several years of experience in network protection, load distribution and network calculation
- You take part in the on-call service and preferably live in the Rheine area
- Good communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a high level of initiative, combined with a structured and analytical way of working
- A conscientious, customer-oriented way of working, communication and organizational skills as well as a cool head, even in hot work phases
