Head of Deep Geothermal Energy Implementation (m/f/d)
Stadtwerke München (SWM) is increasingly focusing on renewable energies in order to accelerate the regional energy transition. To this end, the “Implementation of deep geothermal energy” division is being established as a key component of Munich’s sustainable energy supply. Help shape this innovative area and make a decisive contribution to the energy transition in the region.
Your tasks
- Management and overall responsibility for the unit’s major projects
- Strategic planning and further development of the unit
- Ensuring environmental, quality and safety standards
- Responsibility for planning, approval and implementation of project goals
- Network development and maintenance in the field of geothermal energy
- Risk management and development of solution strategies
Your qualifications
- Experienced manager with proven project management expertise in complex infrastructure, energy or geothermal projects
- Completed engineering degree or similar field of study
- Desirable: knowledge of geothermal energy, drilling technology or reservoir engineering
- Sound knowledge of construction and legislation as well as ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and EMAS)
- Team player with strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident in dealing with project participants and authorities as well as a high level of initiative
